All classes: Tomorrow, Tuesday, there will be FSA testing school wide and a modified bell schedule. There is no additional homework for your class on Monday night.
Periods 3, 4, & 5: Due to the fantastic Community Project Fair last Thursday, some students did not get to complete their lab analysis on tsunami propagation. It should be completed now. Some students are still working on their benchmark assessment for unit 7 from last Tuesday. All others should be reading to share information on Tsunamis with your classmates. You may have a personal account, the science behind tsunamis, or another article which reflects the work of Dr. Vasily Titov, the lead scientist for Tsunami detection and prevention for NOAA, as reported by the Jason Project. You will be gathering information from these various articles to include in a report/essay. Your report will be due at the end of class on Wednesday in draft form or as you enter class on Thursday. You may read an article outside of class, but should be able to write your essay in class on Wednesday. On Thursday this week we will begin our next unit on cells and cell theory. There should not be any other homework this week until possibly Thursday when you might have an assignment to finish on cell organelles.
