Tuesday: You will be finished with Cell theory and onto Cells. We will have an activity of sorts that will help you to understand which cells are which, and which organelles go into each one. Your Cell Theory flip/flap is due today. By Friday, you should be starting a project called Cell City although you may call it something else. You might make an analogy for all the organelles to a theme like Harry Potter Books Or a travel Brochure. Do not start this until you learn about it in class. Wednesday is Early release. You may have some class work to finish at home on cells. It could be a graphic organizer or a foldable. It may also be an article to read and respond to for Thursday: You should be working on the organelles of cells. It could be that you were given a cut and paste activity. If you desire to make your own and Not cut and paste, that will be fine too. On Friday it is likely that you will have a quiz on cell theory and cells. No HW.
Monday: Periods: 3, 4, & 5: Some of you will be making up tests on Motion. For HW make corrections without changing the original answer. Explain where you found the correct answer, too. In class today, students will be planning their Rube Goldberg Machine to have at least 5 energy transfers or transformations that will end with a bell for sound and chemical energy. Tuesday: If possible you will be making and testing your machine. I had originally planned for Wednesday, but with Early release there won't be time. If we don't get to it on Tuesday, It will have to be Thursday. Wednesday is Early Release whatever we start in class you will have to finish at home. Thursday: It could be that you have to finish analysis of your machine design and conclude the lab. I may have assigned you an article to read. Friday: It depends on what is finished in class today. Right now, I do not anticipate HW.
